A big welcome from all of us at the Gibb Group.  Our research interests are in supramolecular chemistry; the chemistry between molecules.  In particular, we focus on:

1) Encapsulation complexes, arising through the hydrophobic effect, that engender novel and complex phenomena.

2) The formation and study of supramolecular nano-reactors.

3) The design of hosts capable of binding guest molecules and bring about their subsequent conversion. 

 4) The design of orthogonal host-guest pair monolayers for the assembly of complex nano- and micro-scale objects.
